Coyote hanging over the ravine and saying "sh**". Putting my personal feelings aside, it was jarring to have this scene be followed up by a cartoonish fist fight on a train, after which the eye-ripping guy is yanked out of a train by a rope, but not before realizing his predicament like Wile E. The man gets little to work with, as did Javier Bardem in the last one - criminally underused, awesome actors. Christoph Waltz is a joy to watch, but he is never allowed to be a real threat.
#SPECTRE FILM MOVIE#
The plot of the film was well planned as it helps to round up and link all of the James Bond films Daniel Craig has starred in to create one big finale.Īll previous Bond movies are reduced to one large scam operation, a plan by an Alpine superhero that makes absolutely no sense, in a failed attempt to give this movie a great villain. This film helps to represent Britain in a way that is different to other British films as it is showing off the law enforcement and government orientated side of Britain and gives a clear representation of how it would be to be in the secret service. i feel that there were parts of the film that where put in just to extend the filming time and weren't necessary. Overall i feel Spectre was a good film as the action sequences add to the film to show us the crime side of Britain. It was also nominated for best action movie but just missed out. Spectre won an Oscar for best song which was "writings on the wall" By Sam Smith. As Bond ventures towards the heart of SPECTRE, he learns a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks. As the daughter of the assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot. Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny and Q to help him seek out Madeleine Swann, the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White, who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh, the new head of the Centre of National Security, questions Bond's actions and challenges the relevance of MI6 led by M. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE. SPECTRE is way better than that.A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia, the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal.

I concede the third act is dull and nothing we haven’t seen 1000 times before, Brofeld is lazy storytelling especially when Craig had said so many times they were trying to avoid Austin Powerisms and yes the opening PTS helicopter fight, Italian car chase, Hoffler Klinik fight and MI6 finale were all dreadfully paced and made me look at my watch many times.ĭiamonds Are Forever is my least fave Bond though.

The opening Day of the Dead LALD homage and the Goldfingeresque outfit change from skellington to Tom Ford suit, the intentionally slow and ominous Spectre meeting, the beautifully shot build up of Bond’s rescue of Lucia Sciarra at her home with the thwap thwap Of Bond’s suppressed Walther, Bond and Mr White in Altuisse, the banter with Madeleine in her blue-green dress and Bond in his white dinner jacket, drunk Madeleine in L’Americain, the fight with Hinx, the wait for the Rolls Royce in the desert, Blofeld’s meteorite speech and the flash of Blofeld’s cat. It’s not his best but it has some beautiful moments.
